Our annual sing is one of the most highly anticipated Southern Gospel Music events and is set to take place on Saturday, August 10th at Bethel Worship Center located in the beautiful mountains of Table Rock. The talent line-up includes: The Bledsoes, Children of the Promise, Exodus, Clear Vision, and the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Youth Choir and speaker Rev. Ty Childers. This outdoor event is expected to draw attendees from across the nation.
Fans can come and experience a great outdoor event and experience the most visited national park in America. The location is just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and there are a host of great attractions for Gospel Music lovers to enjoy, during their visit.
Promoter, Jeff Parks to host Singing At The Rock
From the time I was a child I had a love for Southern Gospel Music. I grew up watching the Gospel Singing Jubilee with quartets such as The Inspirations, The Florida Boys, and the Dixie Echoes. My parents would take me to Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium to hear Spartanburg 's legendary Blue Ridge Quartet along with a host of other legends. That passion grew to a desire to get involved in Southern Gospel radio. It became reality in 1996 when I was hired to work the evening shift at AM 1300 WCKI Radio in Greer, SC. I spent six years there until the station was sold and went to a totally different format. I loved that opening of the door to get more involved with my favorite music as I would work backstage at singings and became personal friends with these gospel legends. My passion today is to promote gospel singings and to allow that platform of presenting the Gospel through singing and preaching to stir hearts of people to realize their need of a Savior and for them to give their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ.
